The Land We Buy
If it is rural land in the Ozarks, it is worth asking about — including parcels other buyers pass on.
Common property types
- Vacant land and unwanted rural lots
- Wooded and timber acreage
- Hunting and recreational property
- Pasture, hay ground and small farm acreage
- Lake-area and river-area property
- Mountain, bluff and hillside land
- Land with an old barn, well, septic or mobile home
- Subdivision lots that never got built on
Situations we are used to
- Inherited land held by several heirs
- Owners who live out of state and have never seen the parcel
- Back property taxes or a tax-delinquent parcel
- Land with no survey or an outdated legal description
- Landlocked parcels or land reached only by easement
- Steep, rocky, wet or otherwise difficult ground
- Property that sat on the market and never sold
What we generally do not buy
We focus on land. We are not the right buyer for occupied residential homes, commercial buildings, or property far outside the Ozarks region. If your parcel falls outside what we do, we will say so quickly rather than waste your time.
Size range
We look at everything from a half-acre lot to several hundred acres. Smaller parcels are welcome; many buyers will not bother with them, which is exactly why owners get stuck.
